Auto Processing provides easy set-up and automatic servicing. Once the battery is hooked to the CASP, it is automatically charged, discharged to check capacity, and if acceptable, recharged.
New features include clearly labeled function buttons located on the front panel for easy reference and operation, a continuous scrolling display of the status of each channel and a help function for easy retrieval of user information.
CASP/2500 reconditions NiCd batteries and charges and analyzes all rechargeable batteries. It automatically recognizes most common makes and types of batteries, but can also be programmed to accept other batteries, including newly developed batteries.
The CASP/2500 is a sophisticated and versatile instrument for maintaining optimum performance on rechargeable batteries. At 350 Watts per channel, CASP continues to be the most powerful charger/analyzer on the market today. And now, with a new design and user-friendly functions, CASP/2500 is the easiest-to-use battery maintenance instrument available.
The CASP/2200 offers users a cost-efficient choice for lower power applications that do not require CASP/2500's 350W charging capability. The CASP/2200 provides 250W charging power with a 35W discharge power. |

CASP/2000
The CASP/2000 is a feature-rich and highly sophisticated instrument capable of a broad spectrum of battery management functions such as reconditioning, analyzing, charging and maintaining rechargeable batteries. As such, it is vital to the operation of video and television equipment, aircraft systems, medical devices, communications gear, and portable computers. The CASP/2000 has been the battery charger/analyzer of choice in the military, with over 1,000 units used by the US Marine Corps.
In collaboration with the Marine Corps Systems Command in Quantico, VA a CD-ROM providing detailed operating information on the CASP/2000 was developed. Even though it was intended to serve as a training tool for the Marine Corps infantrymen, MarathonNorco is making it available to the commercial markets in consideration of its highly comprehensive instructional content.
This CD-ROM also covers the basics of electrochemistry, battery types and chemistries along with an interactive virtual CASP/2000 that offers the user an opportunity to practice programming and operating a CASP/2000 on the computer thus eliminating the necessity for an actual CASP/2000 and battery setup |
